Machine Falls 2

I hiked to Machine Falls, knowing the waterfall that I wanted to photograph, but The light was harsh at first, so I waited. Off to the side, a young couple had scrambled up a steep slope and slung a hammock between the trees. Miles out, just swaying and listening. They weren't part of the frame, but that small moment stayed with me. Once the light softened, everything came together for the photograph.
