In Highlands Hammock on this soggy, humid day, rain coming and going , I stepped onto this long old boardwalk. It was slick, narrow, just one handrail. And it stretched straight ahead for what felt like forever. And the lush green pressing in like a tunnel, and It felt like life - you step forward not knowing where it ends, even how long it'll take, but something in the unknown pulls you on, quietly inviting you forward.
