High Falls Park

High Falls State Park, located in central Georgia near the town of Jackson, is a beautiful blend of forest, river, and rushing water. The park’s centerpiece is the Towaliga River, which cascades over a series of rocky ledges to form the highest waterfall in middle Georgia. The falls are powerful and dramatic after heavy rains, sending white water tumbling through a rugged gorge surrounded by hardwood trees and mossy stone.
