Cummins Falls 1

Hiking to Cummins Falls in Jackson County, Tennessee, was an experience unlike anything I had encountered back in Florida. The terrain and elevation were a whole new challenge for me, as the steep inclines and rocky paths were a far cry from Florida's flatlands. The 2.5-mile trail felt much longer as I navigated the rugged landscape, but every step was well worth it. When I finally reached the falls, I was awestruck. The waterfall, standing over 70 feet high, cascaded down with immense power and beauty. The sight of the water plunging into the pool below instantly made the tough hike feel insignificant, filling me with a deep sense of accomplishment and appreciation for witnessing such a breathtaking natural wonder.
